Senior Android Developer

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Android Developer to design, develop, and maintain high- quality Android applications. You will work closely with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teams to build scalable, secure, and user- friendly mobile solutions.
Responsibilities

Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness
Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum development environment
Implement unit tests and UI tests
Integrate RESTful APIs and manage data synchronization with backend services
Translate product requirements and UI/UX designs into functional mobile features
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues
Stay current with Android platform updates and best practices
Conduct code reviews and contribute to best practices
Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin (and/or Java)

Requirements

Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle
2–5+ years of experience in Android application development
Solid understanding of Android app architecture (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture)
Strong proficiency in Kotlin (preferred) and/or Java
Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and authentication mechanisms
Familiarity with Git and modern software development workflows
Strong problem- solving and communication skills
Experience publishing and maintaining apps on Google Play Store

Nice to Have

Experience with dependency injection frameworks (Hilt/Dagger)
Experience with multi- module projects and large- scale apps
Experience with Jetpack Compose
CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Firebase App Distribution)
Knowledge of localization and internationalization
Familiarity with Android Jetpack components (Room, ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation)
