Senior Android Developer (Hybrid/Remote)

Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Swift code
Maintain code quality, organisation and automation
Research, design, test, deploy & maintain high performance Android applications which is used by customers & partners

Familiar with reactive frameworks like RxJava, Coroutines.
A knack for benchmarking and optimization
5+ years of relevant experience as a Android Engineer with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch.”
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back- end services.
Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
Familiar with modular design, managing dependencies in modularization
Familiar with declarative UI: Jetpack Compose
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as QR code scanning, and fingerprint authentication...
Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes .
Good at English communication
Knowledge of the open- source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for everyday tasks
Familiarity with continuous integration (we’re using Gitlab CI/CD pipeline)
Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
