Senior Android Developer (Kotlin/Java/English)

JOB PURPOSE/MISSION:
Ingenico Android Competence Center (ACC) is tasked with building and maintaining reference software for use across
and ensuring internal quality (code reviews). He works with Mainline Manager to plan feature integration.
The Senior Android developer oversees software elaboration in small group (3- 5 devs) following best practices
all regions.

REPORTING TO: ACC Center Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage team workload, ensuring tasks are scheduled and completed
Coordinate with Mainline Manager to plan feature branches and integration
Coordinate with QA teams for unit test coverage and interim software releases
Coordinate with Agile Project Lead for scope and workload analysis
Guide developers on technical questions (software engineering best practices, code reviews)

KEY PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES/INDICATORS:

Technical deliverables have good quality (as reported by QA team and Mainline Manager)
Workload estimates can be relied on for project planning
Consistently delivering according to commitments

Competency/Skill Requirements:

Senior- level software development on Android (able to guide team members)
Requirement analysis and workload estimates
Proficient in Kotlin or Java
Experience in software analysis, design, and architecture
Management of a small development team

Special Requirements:

Development management tools (Git/Jira /Jenkins, …)

Behaviour skills:

Open- minded and good teamwork
Interest in technology and keeping up- to- date on tools and practices
Good communication towards team, managers
Willing to share, learn and guide other members

Languages:
- Able to communicate in English

Education Qualifications / Experience Requirements:

Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Engineering
5 to 8- yr experience

Chance to go onsite/other countries for training
