Senior Associate, Operational Risk (Divisional Control)

Role Purposes
• The Senior Associate Divisional Controls is a common point of expertise and provides first line controls, compliance and risk assurance support to management of their aligned business. This role is critical in driving risk and controls awareness and supporting the business stakeholders to meet risk and compliance obligations.
• This role will be specifically aligned to the Technology & Enterprise Operations (T&EO) Chief Operating Office (COO). However, assistance may be required in other parts of the T&EO division including Enterprise Technology.
Main Responsibilities
• Engaging and managing stakeholders to implement and improve business systems and processes through the use/integration of the risk and compliance framework
• Providing business specific input and context to: Risk deep dive reviews; Internal Audit reviews; Assurance reports; Action plans for ineffective operational controls
• Pro- actively identifying, driving and supporting continuous improvement and evolution of other NAB controls assessment processes and toolsets
• Reporting, analytics and insight production
• Engaging the relevant Enterprise Controls communities for expert assistance as appropriate
• Designing controls: assisting to identify the right key controls to mitigate key risks and obligations applicable to the business
• Compliance obligation monitoring and obligation assessment completion support
• Operational risk, impact assessment and change within the Division
• Advising business leaders on the application of the operational risk and compliance management framework to evaluate risks in order to achieve business outcomes
• Risk profiling: assisting with management and reporting of the relevant risks and supporting metric
• Participating in Enterprise Controls Communities of Practice
• Working with the business to implement systems and controls to manage the requirements of operational risk and compliance policies which apply to the business
• Supporting the business to complete compliance obligations assessments
• Support the design, maintenance and / or uplift team processes, tools and methodologies
• Fulfil other tasks as assigned by your People Leader and/or authorized representative of NAB Vietnam from time to time.
