A day in your life might include

Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to identify and resolve defects and improve test coverage.
Analyze test results, generate reports, and log defects using tools like JIRA.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
Lead code reviews and provide mentorship to junior automation engineers.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
Create and manage automated test cases for UI, API, and integration testing.
Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks using Robot Framework.

How to succeed in this role:

Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
Experience with SeleniumLibrary, API libraries (e.g., RequestsLibrary), and database validations.
Hands- on experience with version control systems such as Git.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Excellent problem- solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
5+ years of experience in test automation, with at least 3 years focused on Robot Framework.
Strong proficiency in Python, as Robot Framework uses Python- based libraries.
