Senior Automation Test Engineer

Job overview and responsibility
- Identify high- risk areas and critical user journeys, and ensure they have proper automated coverage
- Mentor team members through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing
- Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and DevOps to improve system reliability and release confidence
- Continuously improve testing processes, frameworks, and tooling
- Define and own test automation strategy across mobile apps, backend services, and integrations
- Design and build scalable, reusable automation frameworks across UI, API, integration, and data layers
- Analyze test results and drive quality improvements, close coverage gaps proactively
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) to enable continuous testing
Required skills and experiences
- Comfortable working in agile, cross- functional product teams
- Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines: Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar
- Solid understanding of test automation strategy: test pyramid, risk- based testing, and the boundaries between unit, API, and E2E testing
- 5+ years in test automation, with strong hands- on experience designing automation solutions
- Proven experience testing across multiple layers: UI, API, and system integration
- Strong programming skills
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem- solving skills
- Experience with version control (Git) and modern development workflows
- Hands- on with automation tools/frameworks: Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Robot Framework, or equivalent
