Senior Backend Developer (Java/Golang)

Responsibilities

Write high- quality, clean, and maintainable code using engineering best practices
Performance tuning, online incidents troubleshooting, and system refactoring
Work in an Agile & collaborative environment involving different stakeholders.
Build open API features for core social products
Development and implementation of social products include but are not limited to the profile, feed, comment, chat, notification, marketplace

Requirements

Proficient in distributed database, and familiar with at least one NoSQL DB
Distributed Caching such as Redis
6- 8+ years of experience with full lifecycle of project development for Java Applications
Solid knowledge of event processing models, parallel programming, multi- threading, enterprise integration pattern, Socket, Web Service, and REST
Extensive experience in software design, architecture, development integration
Strong skills in Core Java, server- side Java technologies, and Spring frameworks
Good cross- team communication skills

The following skills would be nice to have

Experience with frameworks such as Netty, Vert.x
Experience with big- data technologies such as Apache Kafka, and OLAP
Experience creating React- based UIs
Knowing how to work with K8S or cloud services, e.g GCP, AWS... is a big plus
