As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be a cornerstone of our engineering team and the architect of our core platform. You won’t just be another cog in the machine; you&039;ll be responsible for designing, building, and running the critical systems that power our product. This is a role for someone who loves to take initiative, solve complex problems, and wants to see their work have a direct and immediate impact on our business and customers. You will have a high degree of autonomy and the opportunity to shape our technical direction.
Earlier this year, we had successfully closed a landmark $70 million Series A funding round, one of the largest Series A investments in Southeast Asia&039;s agricultural technology sector to date.
TECHCOOP is at the forefront of digital innovation in agriculture, offering a B2B platform that provides end- to- end solutions tailored for export- oriented supply chains. The platform empowers Agri- MSMEs and farmer clubs — critical stakeholders in Vietnam’s agriculture sector — through comprehensive services such as technology enablement, product traceability, flexible payment terms, and enhanced market access for commercialising agricultural goods.
Champion DevOps & CI/CD: Build, maintain, and improve our CI/CD pipelines to ensure our team can ship high- quality code quickly and reliably. You&039;ll live and breathe DevOps principles to enhance automation and system observability.
Collaborate & Influence: Work closely with product managers, frontend engineers, designers, and other business leaders to translate product requirements into technical realities. You&039;ll be expected to communicate technical concepts and decisions to both technical and non- technical stakeholders.
Mentor & Lead: Foster a culture of technical excellence by mentoring other engineers, championing best practices, and leading by example.
Ensure Reliability: Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across our stack, and take part in an on- call rotation to keep our services running smoothly.
Take Full Ownership: Own the entire software development lifecycle for your services—from initial brainstorming and technical design to implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Architect & Build: Design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure, and highly- available backend services using a microservices architecture.
