Senior Backend Developer

Developing and maintaining server- side applications and web services
Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web- capable devices and browsers
Mentor and guide junior developers, supporting their professional growth and development
Containerising (docker) components for deployment to Kubernetes
Translating designs and wireframes into high- quality code
Participate in Agile software development, including prototyping and code review, to build scalable microservices- based products
Developing RESTful back- ends providing APIs consumed through the front- end
Collaborate with Front- end developers to integrate user- facing elements with server- side logic

University degree in Computer Science, or equivalent
+4 years’ experience working in Software Development, solid experience in JavaScript
Strong English communication skills (both verbal and written)
Knowledge of Java and related frameworks and libraries
Experience in Cloud Solutions, Concurrency and Multi- threading, Quarkus, Open- source, Relational Database
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
Familiarity with and design of RESTful APIs (Next.js/node)
Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and container- based deployments is a plus
Understanding of the latest development practices such as Agile Methodology, Application Security, Data security
Familiarity with code versioning tools like Git
