Senior Backend Engineer Ruby, Typescript

Ruby on Rails for backend
js, Typescript for frontend
AWS(EC2, ECS) for infrastructure

Responsibility:

Finding potential operational issues in the business, and solving it technically.
A series of product developments such as coding, testing, designing system architecture.
Operating the web platform consisting of at least 4 microservices&039; modules

Your primary mission is to achieve Product- Market Fit in a new country. To achieve the goal, you will be responsible for localizing RAKSUL&039;s existing system, with a focus on backend development and marginal optimization in the first six months with Business Owner, Product Owner, and other Tech Leads.

Technical skills:

Highy productive coding and designing unit testing skill with Linuxandweb- based application’s frameworks (fluent in at least two of the following: Ruby on Rails, NestJS, Laravel, Express, Django, etc.)
Hand- on experience with designing and tuning RDBMS such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL such as Redis, Elasticsearch
Have a good foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Familiar with cloud computing such asAWS, GCP
Operation of microservices with container and serverless
Experience with improving legacy code/system and working withREST API, and GraphQL

Other skills:

Strong interest to change old industries with technology.
Decent communication English skillto work with global members.
Ability to work with others and preference on teamwork.
Guiding junior members
Strong documentation skill utilizing tools such as Notion, Clickup, Github Wiki, etc.
Pair programming and/or mob programming.
