Senior Backend Java Developer (Golang, Ruby, AWS)

The Opportunity
As our business continues to grow, ANDPAD Vietnam is looking for Java Engineers who are willing to technically switch from Java to Ruby/Golang to join our team and develop the application in cooperation with the Product Manager. Working as a squad allows a small team to move quickly and consistently from design through development, testing and operations.
There are also plenty of opportunities to work with new languages and FWs other than the main language in an international environment.
Job Scope

Architecture design based on requirements, middleware selection
Define requirements and specifications in collaboration with product managers and designers
Design and implement the functions of the responsible product using Ruby or Golang
Measuring impact for quality improvement and implementation of service improvement measures
Refactoring of existing products for microservices

Development environment

IaC: Packer, Terraform
DB: Amazon Aurora (MySQL compatible edition), Elasticsearch, DynamoDB
CI/CD：Circle CI / Codebuild
Monitoring: Datadog, bugsnag
Configuration management: Ansible
Infrastructure: AWS, GCP
Deploy / Build: CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CircleCI, GitHub Actions
Others: swagger, Docker, ZenHub, Figma, Slack/Jira

Yêu cầu công việc

Must- have:

Experience in implementing test code (unit test)
Empathy with Andpad&039;s mission and values.
Experience of developing and operating web applications using frameworks
Good English communication skills
Experience in schema design such as RDBMS and optimal query design
5+ years of experience in web services development and operation
Backend service experience in multiple, managed languages such as Java, Scala, Go, C, or similar.
Willingness to learn our tech stack and collaborate with our team is essential
Experience as a technical lead throughout the project development lifecycle
Knowledge of web application security

Nice to have:

Experience in designing architecture based on application requirements and selecting middleware
Java, Golang or RoR programming experience
Experience in publishing and contributing to OSS
Experience of external technical output (writing, technical blog, stage, etc.)
Experience of discovering and resolving problems from logs
Experience of developing systems using container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
