Senior Blockchain Developer

• Developing Ethereum smart contracts for the ticketing mobile platform and solution, implementing new features and fixing bugs.
• Maintaining the existing Ethereum smart contracts.
• Maintaining and improving the existing blockchain architecture.
• Participating to the backend developments where the components interact with the blockchain infrastructure.
• Improving the monitoring of the blockchain platform and nodes.
• Helping on the development of the tools that allow the team to explore the blockchain data easily.
• Participating in the design and the definition of the next generation blockchain platform.
• Improving the blockchain performances.
• Delivering high-quality code based on high standards of quality. Ensure maintainability of code: code review defects; implement unit tests, code refactoring tasks.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of architects, developers and testers from analysis to implementation of technology solutions that meet client requirements.
• Be involved in the complete product lifecycle, from requirements to final delivery.
• Providing/writing clear and simple technical documentation.
• Coordinate with other departments and team members to troubleshoot production issues.

• At least a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• +4 years of total experience in software development and engineering.
• 2 years working in blockchain technologies especially with Ethereum and Solidity.
• Experience in software development in general and in JAVA platforms.
• Experience working on production and high throughputs environments.
Skills & Competencies
• Experience in Blockchain domain, especially in Ethereum and Solidity.
• Experience in Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, Hibernate, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems.
• Excellent understanding of Database principals, RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL…), SQL query languages and index management.
• A high focus on quality and application of engineering best practices.
• Good knowledge in using CI/CD environments (Jenkins, Sonar).
• Proven ability to solve technical & engineering challenges.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies and tools including SCRUM, JIRA.
• Familiar with git and git-flow
• Good communication and analytical skills
