Senior Blockchain Engineer/Security

Job Description:

Track protocol changes and roadmaps, and coherently communicate key details to senior leadership and downstream partners
Work closely with Asset Issuers and represent the company and our engineering interests
Identify areas of opportunities in our blockchain operations, including automation initiatives or process improvements
Facilitate incident response and conduct root cause analysis
Mentor and train other team members on protocol fundamentals and other Automate operational tasks
Help partners implement protocols in their system, and ensure breaking changes are proactively identified and implemented prior to hard forks

Requirements:
Must have:

Have an energy and self- drive for continuous learning blockchain security is a constantly and rapidly changing space
Ability to communicate with technical SMEs and non- technical stakeholders in order to drive alignment
Know how to foster an environment that creates them
Passionate about developing the technical skill sets of security professionals
At least 5 years of experience in security domains such as Application Security, Product Security, Infrastructure Security, Cloud Security, Security Engineering, etc
At least 5 years of engineering management and people management experience and a preference for managing managers
At least 10 years of experience in security

Nice To have:

Written/deployed security- specific tooling, such as static or dynamic analysis tools
Have a blockchain expertise or professional experience and experience in building blockchain monitoring technology
Excel in identifying machine- level, transaction- level, and business logic- level vulnerabilities in smart contracts and novel blockchains
