Objective: Translate business needs and customer requirements into clear, actionable development stories for the QA and Development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Tasks:
Ensure the team delivers according to business stakeholder and product owner priorities.
Plan and prioritize user stories based on team capacity and business priorities.
Gather and refine requirements from product/project management and internal stakeholders.
Validate functionalities in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including both happy and failure paths.
Work with UX designers and Product Owners to define requirements for prototypes.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications, mock- ups, and diagrams.
Address QA queries on functionality and regression test scenarios.
Prepare progress reports and organize team meetings, such as stand- ups and retrospectives.
Collaborate with lead developers to estimate feature delivery timelines.
Coordinate and facilitate project/product handovers to the operations team.
Support third- party application integrations and communication.
Partner with lead developers to create detailed user stories with acceptance criteria.
Maintain and update project documentation as per established processes.
Organizational Tasks:
Cover responsibilities of colleagues during leaves of absence.
Follow procedures and guidelines to complete tasks effectively.
Simplify complex requirements to ensure clarity and efficiency in functional designs.
Contribute to the technical evaluation of candidates, mentor newcomers, and promote knowledge sharing.
Adhere to project requirements, quality standards, and deadlines.
Maintain confidentiality of company information and adhere to data protection protocols.
Use company equipment responsibly and maintain proper records in tools like Jira and NetSuite.
Comply with organizational regulations, safety norms, and confidentiality agreements.
Required Skills:
Technical Competencies:
Strong background in business analysis or product management.
Proven experience in software development environments.
Familiarity with tools such as Jira or TFS.
Knowledge of User Stories, Use Case modeling, and Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum).
Experience in delivering software projects or products.
Understanding of sequence diagrams, REST APIs, and optionally, Java.
