Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Azure/System)

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with a robust cloud services and system engineering foundation and some project management experience. The ideal candidate will oversee our cloud infrastructure and ensure the seamless integration of our systems with cloud services.
Key Responsibilities

Designing and building technical solutions with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and familiarity with Azure DevOps.
Understanding the need for new initiatives to build scalable, distributed, high- performance computing cloud- based solutions on Azure, Google, or other platforms.
Managing cloud environments by security guidelines.
Installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting applications and servers in public cloud environments.
Engineering, automating, and orchestrating system provisioning and maintenance processes using modern cloud tools and technologies.
Performing system administration tasks, including configuration, systems monitoring, troubleshooting, and support, while innovating to automate as much as possible.
Planning, designing, and developing cloud- based applications.
Performing operating system and software application installation, patching, and upgrades.
Deploying and debugging Cloud initiatives as needed by best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
Troubleshooting and resolving issues reported by monitoring systems submitted through the ticketing system, including fully documented issues, actions taken, and steps for resolution.

Qualifications

Knowledge of relevant server, network, and client operating systems and technologies, such as Microsoft Windows, Linux, or other software
Experience migrating and updating Microsoft Azure servers and services.
At least 1- 2 years of experience in project management.
Experience working with systems in Linux, open source, and cloud environments is highly desired.
5 years of experience working with client/server- based equipment and operating systems in a complex enterprise network environment.
Excellent time and project management skills, customer service and interpersonal skills, system diagnostics, and communication (written and oral) are critical for success in this position.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certification in Cloud platforms (Azure)
Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members, clients, and management to explain technical issues.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and Tools
