Credit appraisal process:
Ensure the underwriting /loan process is operated smoothly and professionally in compliance with Credit policy, Business code and Company’s guidelines.
Ensure all internal & external compliance requirements are documented, procedures written, requirements implemented into business processes and reporting undertaken within prescribed timelines.
Ensure related KYC ("Know Your Customer”) and required documents submitted from Business Development Team are verified and crosschecked properly by Credit Analyst on timely basis
Ensure internal Credit Appraisal and Decision policy, procedure, rules, guidelines at Department are well maintained and updated in accordance with internal and external regulatory changes when required.
Manage customer’s Credit Line facilities through regular monitoring, analysis and reporting on customer performance and needs.
Oversee studying and analysing relating reports to track team performance (i.e. loan application approval, call- back time) as well as improving team performance to attain the KPI target.
Loan approval:
Take full responsibility of operation of Credit Analysis Team with the regards to direct review and approval or recommendation upon all transactions as allowed for in the Delegated Lending Authority.
Customer service quality:
Provide an assistance in developing/customizing training materials in fields of credit and financial products and delivering those materials to Sales and relevant staffs.
Support Risk Management Team to establish and maintain a Credit Risk grading system backed with statistically tested and validated attributes for loan grading and risk provisioning.
Attract, develop, and retain people with the skills and motivation to continuously provide the best in class of service to distributors’ dealers and customers.
Ensure rotation in subordinate positions, including having a back- up for all key tasks so that there are no business interruptions while maintaining headcount limits.
Give recommendation on loan terms and conditions to Sales Consultant to convert risky customers to potential ones.
Portfolio management:
Provide proper monitor and control mechanism to ensure optimal level of credit risk and operational risk for portfolio under management.
Provide transparent and regular analysis reporting on status, timelines, success, and failures on all credit risk management activities, both at portfolio, segmented and individual/corporate application levels.
Ensure a proper operation of Early- Warning- Signals system, which help deter and detect potential credit risk and fraud risk at early stage.
People Development
Ensure staff under management are well- equipped with necessary technical knowledge and skills to well accomplished all assigned tasks and duties.
Other assignments:
Ad- hoc tasks assigned by Company’s Management.
Use expertise to answer questions, resolve or escalate issues from junior team members to MB member in- charge with suggested solutions.
