Senior Cyber Security Analysis

To protect and preserve TMIV information assets and computing resources through the management of security vulnerabilities, threat intelligence and prevention, security monitoring, incident handling, support of deployed security solutions and other advanced cyber security controls.

Monitoring of security alerts in MSSP Portal and follow up with respective parties to investigate/remediate/close the alerts.
Assist in incident and security reporting preparation.
Plan the implementation and roll- out security products, technologies, and controls.
Plan and conduct annual cyber exercise/security incident drill.
Improve and fine- tune incident response procedures and manuals.
Manage and support security devices/applications, where applicable.
Perform security assessment/review on systems, network devices, security devices and applications to ensure security controls are properly implemented and working as intended.
Plan and execute Vulnerability Assessment scans. Provide VA scan reports to IT team/vendors, prioritize remediation plan and follow- up on remediation progress.
Coordinate with outsourcing/application vendors and IT team members for vulnerabilities and baseline hardening remediation.
Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for implemented security solutions and coordinate with product vendors for problem resolution, enhancements and upgrades.
Communicate with stakeholders/users to carry out security related work activities to support the daily operations.
Coordinate and support various stakeholders in incident response and containment.

Participate in creation, review and update of IT Security procedures and standards.

Team player with good interpersonal and problem- solving skills.
Solid experience in managing and handling IT security incidents.
Hands- on experience in supporting and managing IT security solutions/products, such as firewalls, intrusion prevention system, endpoint detection and response, anti- malware, vulnerability, and/or compliance scanning tools.
Solid experience on security monitoring and threat analysis, security incident response and containment.
At least 5 years of working experience in Information Security/Cyber Security field.
Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in IT/Information Security/Cyber Security or related qualification.
Certification in IT Security/Information Security such as CISSP, CISM, SANS certifications will be advantageous.
Good knowledge on security assessment, vulnerability remediation, security standards and best practices.
Self- starter, proactive, strong desire to learn and strong sense of ownership.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
Strong analytical skill, especially in security log analysis and investigation, event correlation and understanding of security alerts and notification.

Knowledge of insurance industry and regulatory requirements will be an added advantage.
