Senior Data Analytics Engineer

Role Description
Data Analytics Engineers in the Data team work closely with both business and technical teams. They design and implement data pipelines, develop robust data models, and ensure data quality and reliability to provide meaningful insight. The job holder will work on data from two of One Mount’s subsidiaries: One Mount Consumer (VinID) & One Mount Real Estate (OneHousing).
What you will do
The job holder will work on cross- division projects, with business analysts, product owners and other stakeholders to streamline data, improve quality and efficiency of data usage:

Provide expertise in data modeling and data analytics/visualization to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
Design and build supporting products of data quality to ensure data sources are reliable and relevant for the team’s purposes
Empower the team by creating and maintaining high- quality ground truth data sets for various business applications.
Maintain and optimize existing data systems to improve performance and scalability.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.

What you will need
Critical

Problem- solving mindset
Experience with dimensional data modeling and database design
Strong understanding of data management principles, including data lineage, metadata, data quality, and data governance.
Advanced SQL skills and experience with data analysis
Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Superset, etc., is a plus.
Collaboration and communication skills to work with both business and technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ability to elicit user stories and draw process diagrams.

Desirable

Familiarity with cloud- based data solutions and infrastructure (GCP, Azure, AWS) is a plus.
Experience with Python and/or R programming.
Experience with dbt, Airflow, Git, Spark
