POSITION: Senior Data Engineer

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and implement scalable, automated Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. You will work with a variety of tools including Python, APIs, and modern BI platforms to build high- performance data systems that empower business decision- making.
The ideal candidate is experienced in data architecture, analytics, visualization, and ETL automation, and is passionate about driving innovation through data.
BI Development & Automation
Build dashboards and self- service BI solutions (Superset, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
Automate repetitive tasks using Docker, Airflow, and other tools.
Integrate AI/ML analytics for predictive insights and recommendations.
Automate data preparation, processing, and reporting using Python scripts, APIs.
Data Integration & ETL
Ensure seamless and scalable data integration across systems.
Design and maintain data models, schemas, and ETL pipelines.
Automate ETL using Python libraries like Pandas, NumPy, or external tools.
Solution Architecture
Ensure performance, scalability, and system reliability.
Define BI architectures and data pipelines for real- time and batch processing.
Guide BI tool selection and best practices in data automation.
Collaboration & Leadership
Stay up to date on BI trends and emerging data technologies.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to technical leadership.
Work closely with analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver BI solutions.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
3+ years in BI development, data architecture, or analytics, with at least 1+ years in a BI Solution Architect role.
Strong knowledge of BI tools (Superset, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker, etc.).
Expert Python programming for automation, ETL processes, and analytics.
Good English communication skills.
Understanding of machine learning and AI- driven analytics (a plus)
Experience with ETL tools and data integration (SSIS, Airflow, Apache NiFi, Informatica, Azure Cloud Tools, etc.).
Expertise in SQL, data modeling, and database management (SQL Server, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.).
Work Behavior:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrate a high attention- to- detail in the analysis and reporting of data
Ability to lead, plan and manage in an entrepreneurial, team- oriented environment
Highly organized with strong project management skills, and drive to meet organizational objectives; ability to manage multiple projects on interrelated timelines
Demonstrate experience in getting things done in dynamic, entrepreneurial environment

WORKING HOURS: Work schedule may vary depending on project needs
WORK LOCATION: Hybrid at 9th Floor, Ree Tower, 9 Doan Van Bo, Ward 13, District 4, HCMC
For internal support: standard shift from 9AM – 6PM
For project- based work: 3PM – 6PM and 9PM – 2AM (requires direct client interaction within the US, with working hours aligned to US time zone )
