Senior Data Engineer

What are we looking for?
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will hold a pivotal position in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and accessibility of our data platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to bolster our environment, enabling robust data- driven business decisions and enhancing the customer experience.
What are you expected to do?
Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to construct technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
Design and implement suitable technologies to develop end- to- end data solutions within our client&039;s cloud environment, adhering to best practices.
Develop and deploy event- driven pipeline architectures, prioritizing distributed ingestion and processing.
Work closely with Data Scientists, Data Analysts, and Data Users through peer programming, effective code reviews, and technical consultations.
Extend and optimize our client&039;s data pipelines, data lake, and data warehouse to accommodate the increasing number of data sources and diverse processing needs.
Collaborate proactively with fellow data engineers to review and approve pull requests.
Enhance and optimize information models to meet the Business Intelligence and Data Science requirements across various teams and products, emphasizing self- service and reusability.
Utilize appropriate software and languages to create robust, reusable, and scalable tools that facilitate rapid value delivery.

You have hands- on expertise with SQL, Python, Pyspark, Data Bricks/Notebooks, DBT, Airflow, and Data Factory.

You demonstrate knowledge of Agile Frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban.
Your familiarity with AI and ML technologies and principles is desirable.
You possess strong proficiency in the Azure stack (e.g., storages, networking, terraform), making you highly desirable for the role.
You possess the ability to create highly technical architectures, concepts, use- cases, designs, and approaches.
You excel in building, extending, and maintaining robust data pipelines, secure data stores, streaming and batch data environments, and enterprise- grade Data Warehouse and Data Lakes.
You have demonstrated experience in a similar Data Engineering role utilizing a modern tech stack.
Your proficiency lies in building, scaling, and monitoring resilient distributed systems.
You boast a proven track record in data infrastructure, encompassing databases, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern DevOps practices.
