Senior DBA Cloud (AWS, Oracle)

Implementing Database DevOps solutions on- premises and on cloud as AWS, Oracle Cloud:

Provide database environment for Test/Dev/Production and hardening.
Consolidate database systems into Database farm.
Implement and manage database platform on Cloud system.
Implement database change, database policy follows CR process and security policy.

Execute DBA operation checklist and resolve database requests following database standard and bank policy:

Resolve requests/issues within a timely manner against SLA/OLA requirements.
Implement backup procedure.

Responsible for the database performance, housekeeping tasks, integrity, and security of database. Work closely with the IT Infra System/Network/Storage and DevOps Teams, AM/PM to assist in database related duties (maintenance, upgrades, and system assessment):

Fix security vulnerabilities following security procedure.
Inform Services Owner (SO) Top Module, Poor SQL query impacted database performance.
Provide technical advice and support to DevOps Teams and Projects.
Database is stable and has good performance.

Working with development, QA, and operations teams to automate the build, test, and deploy process:

Automate CR implementation, operation task and routine.

Participate in written/update database procedure documents:

Database operation document built and up- to- date.

Proposing cost- effective solutions, optimization, and stability:

Saving cost (storage, outsource…), review time to implement job.
Database services performance improvement
Involved in code review and tuning, architecture, and standardization of the database side and with CRs lifecycle.

Review database changes/ all related documents for DevOps applications in charge:

Handover database system.
Reduce risk, occur happen by Change request.
Make sure Database align IT strategy, architecture, and security policy.

Educational Qualifications:

A bachelor&039;s degree in information technology or computer science or related field of study: AWS And/Or Oracle cloud certificated or equivalent education, training by Oracle/ Microsoft/ AWS/ NoSQL technology.

Relevant Knowledge/ Expertise:

Experience with DB monitoring tool as Oracle cloud EM, Grafana.
Experience with migrations and upgrades.
Source code control (Git, SVN, etc).
Knowledge of OS as Windows Server, Linux, AIX.
SQL tuning and database performance assessments.
Experience automating routine tasks and performance and log analysis.
Experience with BigData, Data streaming technology as ODI, Kafka is preferred.
Extensive experience in Public clouds, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with MySQL And/Or XML/Mongo/NoSQL technology (Redis, Elastisearch, MongoDB/ NoSQL system) And/Or Oracle/SQL.

4+ years of database experience (MySQL, NoSQL Redis/MongoDB, PostgreSQL and/or Oracle/MSSQL ), in addition to educational requirements.
