Senior DevOps Engineer

Design, manage, and maintain tools to automate operational processes.
Create and maintain documentation for our operational systems and procedures.
Ensure system stability, scalability, security, and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our development, test, and production environments.
Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies, and evaluate new tools to improve system efficiency.
Develop and maintain our CI/CD pipeline to optimize software development and deployment.
Collaborate with developers and IT staff to monitor and support our systems.
Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Excellent troubleshooting and problem- solving skills.
4 years of experience in a DevOps role or similar.
Experience with automation tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong understanding of network protocols and services (DNS, HTTP, TLS, SMTP, etc.)
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.
Strong experience with Linux/Unix administration.
Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and managing cloud infrastructure.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of security best practices in a DevOps context.
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
Familiarity with database administration and SQL/NoSQL databases.
