Senior DevOps Engineer

Resolve problems reported by end user
Proactively monitor and solve any problems with the server and systems
Design, develop and maintain the E-commerce platform for stability, scalability, and high performance.
Define network policies and procedures
Analyze and optimize infrastructure costs.
Support the developer team to build environments (dev, UAT, staging, production…), always with a view to self-service and automation where possible. Develop solutions and strategies for CI/CD.
Understanding of enterprise network and infrastructure environments
Designing, installing, configuring, administering, capacity planning/Basic optimizations, monitoring, backup/restore/recovery/clone DB, security related to Oracle DBMS in Oracle and SQL Server.
Responsible for cloud operations - account, subscription, secrets management, monitoring, and logging.
Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords
Installing and integrating new server hardware and applications
Fully supporting, configuring, maintaining store’s networks and in house servers
Ensuring successful backups, and developing, implementing disaster recovery plans
Spend time with security ensuring the whole system.

Knowledge about micro-service architectures is a plus.
Ideally CCNA Certified – CISCO Network.
Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired.
Good knowledge/experience with VMware
3+ years of experience with Oracle and SQL Server.
Experience with CI/CD tools like CircleCI, Jenkins, Spinnaker, and similar.
Experience with automation for infrastructure deploy/manage like Terraform is a plus.
Experience should include DB design (modelling and normalization), capacity planning, performance tuning, storage management, back-up and recovery, managing schemas, report generation and DB clustering technologies.
Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure
Good experience with AWS, Amazon EKS.
3+ years of experience in DevOps with one or more cloud environments.
Knowledge in managing PostgreSQL, Elastic Stack, Hazelcast/Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ are advantages.
