Senior DevOps Engineer (Cloud)

Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) with Kubernetes: Contribute to the adoption of CI/CD practices within the organization, focusing on Kubernetes- based deployment strategies and automated testing.
System Design and Architecture: Collaborate with the development team to design, implement, and improve the system architecture, ensuring it meets performance and scalability requirements.
Security and Compliance: Assist in implementing security best practices to safeguard our applications and data, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Troubleshooting and Incident Response: Support troubleshooting efforts during incidents, applying root cause analysis to prevent reoccurrences.
Collaboration and Mentoring: Collaborate with cross- functional teams to foster a collaborative DevOps culture. Support and mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and expertise.
Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Set up monitoring and alerting systems, proactively identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure to achieve scalability, cost- efficiency, and fault tolerance.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Work with IaC tools to manage and provision cloud resources efficiently and consistently.
Deployment Automation with Kubernetes: Implement and maintain automated deployment pipelines using Kubernetes, reducing deployment time and minimizing errors.
Web Application and Web API Operations: Oversee the operation and maintenance of our web applications and web APIs, ensuring they are always available, secure, and performant.

Kubernetes Proficiency: In- depth knowledge of Kubernetes, including its architecture, deployment, and management, with a focus on CI/CD for web applications.
CI/CD Knowledge: Hands- on experience with setting up and optimizing CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.
Cloud Expertise: Extensive hands- on experience with major cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), including provisioning and managing cloud resources, and optimizing cloud- based solutions.
Coding Experience: Proficiency in coding tools (Python, Shell script, JavaScript), with the ability to develop APIs and scripts to support automation and integration efforts within the DevOps environment.
Collaborative Team Player: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross- functional team environment.
Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong focus on web application and web API operations.
System Design Experience: Proven track record of designing scalable, resilient, and high- performance systems that meet business requirements.
Problem- Solving Skills: Excellent problem- solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
Security Mindset: In- depth understanding of security best practices, identity management, and network security to maintain a secure infrastructure.
Automation Skills: Strong expertise in automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet) to streamline deployment and infrastructure management processes.
Monitoring and Alerting: Proficiency in implementing monitoring and alerting solutions (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack) to ensure optimal system performance and availability.
