JOB SUMMARY
- Decide how Milwaukee Vietnam is to define, develop, and maintain strategic commitments and goals aligned with the Milwaukee ESG & EHS framework and goals.
- Ensure EHS compliance and external assurance by documenting and controlling ESG impact data and supporting external auditors.
- Work across the organization on all ESG & EHS related matters as ESG related to all Milwaukee Vietnam processes.
- Provide expert advice to senior management and the Core Management team on all matters related to ESG.
- Monitor external agreements, commitments, standards, and legislation will ensure the business operates sustainably.
- Leads the implementation of ESG & EHS- specific initiatives, including the development of business cases, implementation, and evaluation.
- Develop key presentations, tracking, and reporting on strategic commitments and goals, and leading the delivery of sustainability reports and communications to stakeholders.
- Provides clear written messaging outlining information such as the purpose of the initiative, implementation plan, and budget.
- Manage organizational processes and governance of ESG & EHS strategy.
- Define and maintain measurement methodologies for impact on strategic sustainability topics.
- Monitoring external agreements, commitments, standards, and legislation will ensure the business operates sustainably and ensure that Milwaukee Vietnam is using the most appropriate ESG & EHS frameworks in the implementation of the ESG & EHS initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES
- Provides strategic support, technical input, and advisory services to internal partners with strong subject matter expertise in ESG & EHS strategy and disclosure sharing thought leadership, leading practices, and insights to influence and inform strategy to maximize impact in areas such as procurement, travel, and grant administration.
- Act as subject- matter expert for sustainability analytics, governance, and reporting.
- Establish systems for collecting and maintaining ESG & EHS data, facilitating decision making and reporting.
- Safeguard the relevance of methodologies and performance framework by monitoring new standards, legislation (such as TCFD standard, GRI, etc.) and best practices.
- Stays up to date on ESG & EHS principles and best practices through conducting research, continuing education, attending conferences etc.
- Supports the team with quantitative and qualitative research, and analysis across a broad range of ESG & EHS topics.
