Senior Engineer -Technical Service 4W, Coatings

OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION
-­ Coordinate all technical tasks in assigned customer plants.
­- Engage customers in implementing product strategy.
­- Enhance service levels and customer intimacy to achieve customers’ satisfaction.
MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACTIVITIES
Customer Activities:
­ - Observe requirements / identify potential needs of customers and coordinate with supporting teams to carry-out actions to realize business cases
­ - Harmonize and prioritize technical standards and requirements cross lines and teams
­ - Continuously enhance market and competitors’ information to contribute to the competitive edge of BASF solutions
­ - Act as “window person” to customer for line technical issues. Coordinate to ensure customer’s complaint and technical issues solved timely and successfully
­ - Coordinate to conduct new line trials (new technology and new colors)
­ - Ensure customer line evaluations are documented
Account Management:
­ - Ensure product quality, contribute to change management and quality management
­ - Collaborate with other teams to fulfill customers’ needs in support of company strategies and achieving targeted Selling Cost
­ - Ensure all activities comply to all EHS rules/ regulations and RC requirement.

- Required competencies: Act with Entrepreneurial Drive, Demonstrate Customer Focus, Communicate Effectively, Collaborate for Achievement.
- MS. Office applications
- Commercial and technical knowledge preferably in the coatings industry
- At least 3 years relevant working experience
- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related majors
- Good communication skills in English
