The position ofSenior Firmware Engineerreports directly to the R&D Manager and is responsible for:

Collaborate across technical domains to architect and plan product development.
Identify and champion for continuous improvements to firmware development processes.
Design, develop, test, and deploy embedded firmware for electronic test and measurement applications.
Demonstrate passion for learning and seek development opportunities for self and team.

Experience with embedded operating systems.
Strong knowledge and experience with C, C++, OOP, and design patterns.
Ability to work well independently and in close collaboration with a remote team
Desire to work closely with hardware, ability to understand schematics and circuit diagrams.
5+ years of embedded firmware development experience.
BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Experience with Integrated Development Environments (Eclipse, Visual Studio, WinCE) and open source compilers/debuggers (GCC, GDB).
Preferred:
Knowledge of low-powered systems
Familiarity with low-level debug tools (logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters)
Experience with RTOS and Linux on embedded platforms
