Senior Food Plant Manager

Production and Operations Management:

Production planning and execution to achieve production related performance metrics
Manufacturing efficiencies – power, DO, water, losses, yields
Manufacturing costs
Service Level
Focus on cast saving and efficiency improvement initiatives at the plant

Process Management

Supervise process related issues, plan for process changes, manage deviations, ensure TPM and six sigma process compliances.

Supply Chain Management:

Ensure production service level as per the schedule
Supervise all 3rd Party manufacturer

Commercial & Compliances

Ensure all manufacturing activities in the plant are in accordance with the applicable compliances and regulations- Factories Act, Labour Laws, Pollution Control etc.
Ensure all commercial compliances like SAP transactions, audit process, accounting transactions in the plant
Monitor all manufacturing costs incurred are within the defined budget

Quality:

Drive plant certification projects with respect to ISO, SHE, Food & Safety Act requirements ER & IR
Ensure the quality of process and products as per the defined process plan and quality standards

People/Talent Management

Building factory talent and critical manufacturing process and engineering capabilities and supervising all people related issues and administrative activities at the plant
Leadership with ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
Manpower planning with HR

Other

External stakeholder management through liaison and proactive engagement
Scan the environment for new technologies/ processes and opportunities for their application in different aspects of Manufacturing

Qualification & Experience

Major in Technical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or Food Technology. Masters degree or MBA – added advantage
Foundational Role: Production Manager
Experience of FMCG Manufacturing; min 5 years experience on Food Manufacturing is prefer
At least 12 years of experience, out of which 5 years as Production Manager

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies­

To be able to use word, excel and power point.
Knowledge in Food Safety, GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000
Production Process Know how- Working
Fluent in English
Engineering Know how- Working
Techno Commercial Acumen- Advanced
Governance/ Risk/ Compliance & Control [Manufacturing]- Advanced
Problem Solving (Manufacturing)- Advanced
