Senior Frontend (ReacjtJS, Typescript)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Leading and coaching engineers in your team to design and implement secure, scalable, and impactful solutions.
Shaping how ANZ delivers on their commitment to providing great customer service through technology.
Self- organising your own priorities, you will facilitate rapid decision making for the team.
Helping us evolve our web platform. We currently use Next.js 14, managing the projects with Nx. We deploy our code to production using continuous deployment.
Working at a senior level across the programme team, collaborating with architects, engineers, and customer experience experts.

Must have:

From 5 years of web or application development experience including defining application architecture.
Working in an agile team environment including relevant tools.
Strong understanding of software engineering principles.
Experience with frontend unit testing and familiarity with testing- library.
A good understanding of WCAG Accessibility 2.0, Level AA or higher (we do not expect you to have experience; intermediate knowledge is okay)
Good ability in English
Ability to demonstrate UI design literacy.
2+ years working with ReactJS or NextJS using TypeScript (NextJS preferred)

Nice to have:

Familiarity with a type system, or a willingness to learn.
Experience with setting up and working with continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
Ability to demonstrate working within cloud environments such as GCP, AWS or Azure.
