Senior Fullstack Engineer (ReactJS, Python, NodeJS)

GFT is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Fullstack Developer to join our exchange team, which is responsible for developing and maintaining a cutting- edge trading platform with a global presence across APAC, EMEA, and North America. Our team aims to provide a seamless and secure trading experience for our clients. As a Senior Fullstack Developer, you will be integral to designing, developing, maintaining, and improving software for multiple key verticals, focusing on Exchange, Finance, and Trading capabilities. This role involves actively participating in architectural decisions, design reviews, code reviews, and product implementations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage documentation of all code and functionalities implemented.
Create and enhance web applications in a distributed environment.
Engage in frontend and fullstack development activities, including architectural decisions, design reviews, code reviews, and product implementation.
Develop prototypes for new ideas proposed by you and the team.
Identify issues and implement solutions to complex problems in large- scale backend infrastructure, mobile, and web platforms.
Collaborate closely with DevOps and other engineers to improve the tech stack for long- term engineering initiatives.
Take ownership of your projects with the freedom to experiment with new technologies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Strong interest in building first- class products to solve real- world problems.
Mandatory: Extensive experience with React.js for front- end development.
Solid understanding of architectural principles for single- page web applications.
Knowledge of additional front- end frameworks and technologies (e.g., Vue.js, Mobx, XState, Redux).
Mobile development experience is an advantage.
Candidates with less experience may be considered for junior positions.
Humble, eager to improve, and open to challenges and possibilities.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to juggle conflicting requirements from various stakeholders.
Knowledge of additional server- side programming languages (e.g., Ruby, Java).
Mandatory: Strong proficiency in AWS and Kubernetes for containerized development and deployment.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in fullstack development.
Proficiency in Trading UI design and implementation.
Experience in FX, Crypto, or Equities electronic trading businesses.
Understanding of Blockchain technology is an advantage.
Proficiency in handling scalability, security, and performance.
Mandatory: Proficiency in Python and Node.js for server- side programming.
Self- motivated, fast learner with a "get things done" mentality.

NICE TO HAVE

Knowledge of Authentication and Authorization practices.
Experience with React Native, backend for frontend architectures, microservice development.
