SENIOR GAME DESIGNER

We are currently seeking a talented Senior Game Designer to join our Game team at Ninety Eight. The ideal candidate should be passionate about game design and possess a strong understanding of game development principles. The candidate should be able to work collaboratively with the team and have an eye for design aesthetics.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Playtesting: Conduct playtests, gather feedback, and iterate on game designs to refine gameplay and enhance the player experience.
Game Development: Develop and design game mechanics, systems, and user interfaces that align with our project goals.
Documentation: Create detailed game design documents, including UI specifications and logic specifications, to clearly guide development teams.
Problem Solving: Utilize problem- solving skills to address and overcome design challenges throughout the development process.
Collaboration: Work closely with artists, programmers, and other team members to ensure game designs are implemented as intended.
Market Research: Continuously research and analyze current market trends to integrate innovative ideas and ensure our games remain competitive.
QUALIFICATIONS
Collaborative Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Passion: Strong passion for mobile games, particularly in web3 gaming, with a keen insight into what makes them enjoyable
Technical Skills: Experience with Figma for UI design. Proven ability to create balanced game mechanics and engaging user interfaces.
Adaptability: Ability to receive and act on feedback to continuously improve game designs.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in game design or related fields. Additional experience with NFT game products is highly advantageous.
Analytical Skills: Strong understanding of game mechanics, balancing, user interface design, and player psychology.
