Senior Golang Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Contribute to the optimization and performance tuning of Golang applications.
May mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the team.
Design solutions and architecture for Beincom services
Stay up- to- date with the latest advancements in Golang, related libraries, and best practices.
Effectively troubleshoot and debug complex software issues.
Design, develop, and implement robust and maintainable chat backend services using Golang.
Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and maintainability.
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and fostering a collaborative development environment.
Write clean, efficient, and well- documented Golang code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
Collaborate with cross- functional teams (product, design, QA) to understand requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver solutions.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Must have:

Proficient with Go programming language, deep understanding of error handling, concurrency programming with goroutines, and channels.
Minimum 2+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Golang
Good knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
Experience with version control systems (Git) and familiarity with Docker.
Excellent problem- solving and debugging skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Desired Skills:

Experience with Unit Test (using Testify).
Enjoy technical challenges and are eager to explore new technologies.
Experience working on relational databases, specifically Postgres (Strong SQL).
Experienced working on Redis for caching/speeding up system performance.
English reading skills to understand spec documents, requirements, etc.

Nice to have:

Experienced in developing distributed systems on top of microservices architecture, event- driven architecture using NodeJs, Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc. is highly welcome.
Having knowledge of Clean Architect.
Experience in developing a chat system is a big plus. Especially Mattermost open source platform

RECRUITMENT PROCESS:

We will have a brief phone interview first (first round) and an online test (if applicable).
If you pass the phone interview and the online test, we will have an in- person interview regarding expertise (second round)
If you pass the second round, we will have an in- person interview regarding cultural fit (final round).If you pass the final round, you will undergo a 2- month probation before becoming a full member.
If you’re available to start work right away, it would be highly beneficial.
