Senior HOKA Chemical Engineer (Footwear)

HOKA is looking for a Senior Chemical Engineer to join our team in Vietnam and lead the charge in developing cutting- edge materials and processes.
The Role
As a key member of the Compound Engineering team, you will be the driving force behind HOKA&039;s adhesives, primers, inks, and bonding techniques. You&039;ll work at the intersection of chemistry and creativity, providing expert technical support to our global partners in the US and Asia. Your mission is to push the boundaries of footwear technology, ensuring every HOKA product not only meets but exceeds our world- class performance and quality standards.
What You&039;ll Do
• Strategize & Lead: Partner with our R&D and Innovation teams to align on strategic priorities, leading proprietary chemical developments that support HOKA&039;s brand objectives.
• Build Expertise: Mentor and guide our factory partners and team members, sharing your knowledge to elevate technical capabilities and ensure best practices are followed.
• Solve Complex Challenges: Use your expertise to identify root causes of quality issues related to bonding and chemical applications, and implement robust solutions.
• Innovate & Commercialize: Lead the discovery and commercialization of new chemical vendors, adhesives, and processes. Collaborate with our global teams to integrate these innovations into our products, from concept to mass production.
• Drive Sustainability: Champion our sustainability initiatives by developing and implementing eco- friendly solutions, such as VOC- reducing adhesives, bio- based compounds, and circular recycling processes.
