Senior Interior Designer

Overview: As a Senior Interior Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the ID vision and executing high- quality designs for our residential, commercial and mixed- use projects. Working closely with cross- functional teams, you will lead the ID process from concept development to project completion, ensuring alignment with Gamuda Land’s standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Leadership

Provide design leadership and mentorship across teams fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
Lead the conceptualization, development, and execution of ID concepts for a diverse range of projects, including residential towers, commercial & common spaces and mixed- use developments.

Project Management

Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, consultants and contractors to coordinate the implementation of ID solutions and resolve and technical or logistical challenges that may arise.
Oversee all aspects of the ID process, including spacial planning, material selection, FFE procurement and construction documentation to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Design Innovation

Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in ID to continually elevate the quality and relevance of our design solutions.
Champion design innovation and experimentation, pushing the boundaries of conventional design thinking to create distinctive interior environments.

Quality Assurance

Implement quality assurance protocols and processes to uphold the highest standards of design excellence and consistency across all projects.
Conduct thorough reviews and evaluations of design deliverables to ensure adherence to project requirements, design standards, building codes and regulatory guidelines.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in interior design, with a proven tract record of successfully leading and delivering projects of varying scales and complexities.
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and building systems, with the ability to translate design concepts into technical documentation and specifications.
A keen eye for detail, creativity and passion for design innovation, coupled with a pragmatic approach to problem- solving and project management.
Proficiency in industry- standard design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and rendering software (i.e. V- Ray, Lumion, 3D Max etc)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
