Senior Java Developer (Hybrid, Remote)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high- performance Java applications that process large datasets. You will work collaboratively within an agile environment, contributing your expertise to solve complex technical challenges

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable Java applications, focusing on big data processing and high- volume data ingestion
Optimize application performance and ensure scalability to handle large and complex datasets
Measuring impact for quality improvement and implementation of service improvement measures
Write clean, well- documented, and testable code
Proactively identify and resolve technical issues, contributing to the team&039;s overall success
Work with big data technologies and frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) to process and analyze data
Collaborate with team members to define, design, and ship new features
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of code quality
To be trained in scala and apply both Java and scala to the project

Requirements:

5+ years of experience developing Java applications
Proven ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
Proactive approach to learning and keeping up- to- date with new technologies
Ability to comprehend and analyze technical documentation effectively.
Experience working with big data systems and processing large datasets
Good written and listening communication skills in English
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent problem- solving and analytical skills
Strong understanding of core Java concepts (e.g., OOP, multithreading, data structures)
Having knowledge of frontend frameworks such as React is a plus++
