Senior Java Developer (Spring)

As a Senior Java Developer at Endava, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and delivering high- quality software solutions in an Agile Scrum environment, collaborating closely with cross- functional teams and the client to ensure project success.
Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications using Spring Boot- Build RESTful APIs and microservices with cloud integration- Ensure code quality through unit and integration testing- Promote clean code principles (e.g., SOLID, GoF, MVVM) and suggest improvements- Mentor junior developers and review team deliverables- Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and deliver solutions- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and architecture- Stay current with new technologies and engage in tech communities- Share experience and knowledge gained from projects.

Technical Skills:
- 4+ years of experience in Java Back- end development.
- Familiarity with modern architectural styles (microservices, cloud- based, micro- kernel) and quality attributes.
- Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration.
- Practical experience in databases: SQL, Oracle, MS SQL, and ORM tools.
- Experienced with modern CI/CD tools and practices.
- Proficient in Java and Spring Boot.
- Experienced with Agile & Scrum methodologies
- Experienced with design and architectural patterns (e.g., SOLID, GoF, MVVM).
Soft Skills:
- Good English communication skills.
- Experienced in coaching and mentoring junior team members.
- Excellent communication and client- facing skills.
- Good problem- solving and analytical skills.
