Senior Java Full-Stack Developer

ABOUT THE JOB
Stay updated on emerging technologies and apply them to insurance- specific development processes
Work closely with product management and UX designers to understand insurance industry needs and develop innovative solutions
Participate in code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices specific to insurance software development
Troubleshoot and debug complex issues related to insurance processes and provide technical support
Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to delivery, with a focus on insurance domain requirements
Collaborate with cross- functional teams to define, design, and implement insurance- specific features
Develop and maintain software solutions tailored to the insurance domain using Java, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React and Angular
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement them in the context of insurance applications
Mentor and guide junior developers, and actively participate in knowledge sharing and team collaboration
Design and maintain database schemas, stored procedures, and SQL queries for insurance- related data

ABOUT YOU
Strong problem- solving skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent working attitude, problem- solving, and critical thinking skills
Experience with third- party libraries and APIs
Proficiency in JavaScript and Typescript
Familiar with modern FE development toolchain: NPM, Babel, ESLint, Webpack
Academic Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical major
More than 4 years of relevant experience in modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular (Preferred)
Proven experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular 13/Angular JS
More than 3 years of relevant experience in RDBMS such as Oracle (Preferred), Microsoft SQL Server
More than 3 years of relevant experience in Java Spring such as Spring core, Spring boot, Spring security
Strong database knowledge and SQL/Oracle is a big plus
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) and agile development methodologies
