Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Software Engineer with expertise in Java to join our dynamic team. Project Ownership:

Take end- to- end responsibility for assigned projects, driving them to successful completion with high- quality deliverables.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs, ensuring applications run efficiently at scale.
Design, develop, and rigorously test robust, scalable, and cutting- edge web applications to deliver superior user experiences.
Proactively monitor systems, resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime and optimize system reliability.
Collaborate with stakeholders to refine project requirements and specifications, offering technical insights and recommendations.
Maintain high standards of code integrity through rigorous testing, documentation, and adherence to best practices.
Leverage native APIs and frameworks for seamless integrations, ensuring optimal system performance and user satisfaction.

Client Interaction: Interface directly with international clients, building strong relationships and understanding their unique requirements to deliver exceptional results.
Problem Solving: Analyze complex technical challenges and devise creative solutions, driving innovation within the team and organization.
Global Collaboration: Work closely with teams based in the United Kingdom and the United States, ensuring seamless coordination and project success.
Knowledge Sharing: Mentor and guide team members, sharing expertise to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Core Skills

Extensive experience with core Java concepts including object- oriented programming, multithreading, generics, and collections.
Experience writing unit, integration, and end- to- end tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
Strong skills in building RESTful APIs, working with microservices architecture, and expertise in server technologies like Tomcat and Jetty.
Expertise in SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL solutions (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB), including database design, optimization, and data modeling.
Proven ability to optimize backend systems for performance and scalability.
Strong spoken and written English for international collaboration.
Proficiency with Spring, Spring Data, Dependency Injection (DI), and transaction management.
Proficiency with debugging tools and techniques to maintain high- performance systems.
Demonstrated ability to design scalable, well- documented APIs for internal and external clients, including API authentication, authorization, and versioning.

DevOps and Cloud

Hands- on experience with AWS services such as EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, and Lambda for scalable cloud- based solutions.
Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s), including container orchestration, scaling, and deployment of microservices in a distributed system.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or Harness to automate build and deployment pipelines.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools like DataDog to track performance, logs, and metrics in Kubernetes environments.

Version Control and Agile Practices

Experience working in Agile environments, participating in sprints, and collaborating with cross- functional teams.
Proficiency in GitHub for version control and team collaboration.

Bonus Skills

Familiarity with JavaScript and TypeScript, including ES6+ syntax, is highly advantageous.
