WE ARE LOOKING FOR SENIOR ANDROID SYSTEM SOFTWARE ENGINEER IN DANANG/HCM TO JOIN US!
Our target talent is an Android System Software Engineer. Proficiency in core embedded architecture and development (including drivers, encoding, decoding, image processing, and device management) is essential. Additionally, your drive to achieve Sprint Goals extends to broader ecosystem aspects such as applications and framework integration, particularly emphasizing security.
Key Responsibilities

Configure the Linux kernel, manage the Device Tree, and integrate drivers for all hardware, ensuring clean separation and compliance with AOSP Treble architecture
Customized Board Support Packages (BSPs) and system images for hardware compatibility, working closely with ODMs for platform integration and driver optimization
Develop and optimize Android systems, including Android framework customizations, new services, and system applications
Stay updated with the latest software technologies and integrate them into the system
Assist in defining and implementing the AOSP partitioning scheme, including dynamic partitions (super partition) and A/B seamless updates. Ensure storage integrity using tools like dm- verity
Work closely with cross- functional teams (development, operations, product management) to ensure quality and security are integrated into all phases of the product lifecycle

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in embedded software development on real products
Strong knowledge of Android boot process, Linux kernel and device drivers
Familiarity with Android AOSP build system and system partitions
Ability to work independently, with strong problem- solving skills in a technical team environment
Proven hands- on experience with Android SoCs and their associated BSPs and related tools
Proficiency in C/C++, shell scripting, and debugging low- level system components
Experience bootloader security, OPTEE, TrustZone integration
3+ years of experience in Android low- level system development (BSP, HAL, kernel)
Bachelor&039;s degree or above in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field

Nice to Have:

Contributions to AOSP, Linux kernel, or Android open- source projects
Clear thinking, enthusiasm for exploring different domains and tech stacks, and a collaborative team spirit
Exposure to ftrace/systrace/logd customization or similar performance tracing tools
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Open minded and proactive
