Senior Legal & Compliance Advisor

- Collaborate with the internal audit team to conduct regular audits, ensuring compliance with internal controls and risk management frameworks.
- Identify and assess compliance risks across the Company, particularly those associated with contracts, corporate transactions, and operational decisions.
- Participate in the tendering process of the project/Company. Be responsible for evaluation/appraisal/negotiation in respect of bidding packages as assigned by LCD Manager/Company.
- Establish and implement internal control procedures specific to the Block B Gas Project, ensuring compliance in all operational activities.
- Provide regular reports on audit findings, ensuring transparency and recommending improvements to internal governance and risk mitigation practices.
- Develop, appraise, review and propose applicable regulations/procedures and guidelines to the Company&039;s internal management processes.
- Actively handle and advise the BOD and functional departments in respect of legal situations arising in economic, civil, labor, insurance transactions, etc.
- Implement all other responsibilities and duties as assigned by LCD Manager.

* Qualifications
− Degree & Qualifications: Bachelor in Law (HCM/HN University of Law, University of Economic – Law);
− Having a Law practice Certificate or a Master&039;s Degree in Law is preferred;
− English skill: IELTS 5.5, TOEIC 600 or equivalent.
* Experiences
− Proven experience in internal audit, risk management, and corporate governance.
− At least 5- year working experience in legal and compliance area in a corporate legal environment or working at a law firm and/or E&P industry.
− Experience in bidding, oil and gas is preferred.
− Strong understanding of enterprise risk management (ERM) frameworks such as ISO 31000, COSO, or equivalent.
− Strong knowledge of the laws of Vietnam relating to corporate, investment, commercial, labor and Petroleum Laws.

− Good research, logical thinking and analyzing skills;
− Ability to work in detail and identify key issues in complex situations;
− Strong analytical and problem- solving skills.
− Proficient in Microsoft Office (word, excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
− Have ability to work independently and work under high pressure;
− Excellent verbal and written communication;
− Be able to inspire and motivate others towards common goals;
