Senior Legal Executive - Litigation

Litigation involvement (about 40% workload- crucial):

Prepare, submit and follow up with the submission of application dossiers, legal documents as assigned
Liaise with the competent authorities or lawfirm to carry out the required work
Evaluate proposals, action plans and other situations that may have legal impact and determine pertinent course of action as required
Attend to the meetings, hearings and other legal proceedings in accordance with the laws
Research and draft legal advice; preparing and writing legal documents or cases
Assist in the preparation of documents for court cases/ arbitrations/ reconciliation;
Corporate with law firms to follow up and complete in target task

Contract review (about 30% workload)

Counsel the management and staff in all legal questions, review legal documents and assistance in contract negotiations
Standardize contract template;
Do research on trade law, Singapore contract law for the purpose of export contract review
Draft, review agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights

Licensing (about 20% workload)

Support Project in Project development;
Lead the team to draft, submit application to obtain ERC, IRC, IA, LURC;
Counsel the management on M&A deals;
Consolidate Due Diligent Report on M&A transaction;

Others (about 10% workload)

Improve knowledge of alterations in legislation
Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Management.
Translate legal documents and other documents

Independence; patience
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Experience in litigation is a big plus.
Have excellent planning and reporting skills.
Fluent in English, especially in law fields
Fast learner, Independence, passionate about the legal field
Minimum 4 years’ experience working in an inhouse legal Department or a law firm
Outstanding problem- solving, and analytical/ observation skills.
Self- research, logical & comprehensive thinking
Good time and task management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent
Excellent knowledge and understanding of business law and procedures
