Senior Level - Test Engineer QC/ Manual+Auto Tester

Mentor and coach team members on automation, AI- powered testing, and testing best practices.
Apply AI and automation testing tools to automate the testing process for both UI and functional layers, including developing and maintaining test scripts/frameworks.
Analyze test results, identify and report defects, track fixes, and perform re- tests.
Collaborate closely with cross- functional teams (Dev, BA, PM, etc.) to ensure project quality and timelines are met.
Identify, propose, and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and team efficiency.
Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, and potential risks.
Prepare and review test plans and test scenarios, ensuring maximum test coverage.
Design and implement Test Strategies for each project, covering both UI testing and functional testing.
Perform all essential tester activities (including manual testing when necessary).

Good coordination, leadership skills, and experience mentoring junior testers.
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem- solving skills.
Strong Business Analysis skills with the ability to clarify and break down requirements.
At least 5+ years of experience as a Quality Control/Tester or in a similar role, with proven experience in both manual and automation testing.
Good programming skills for writing and maintaining automation scripts/frameworks.
Proficient in using some automation testing tools for both UI and functional testing.
Strong working knowledge of test design techniques and compatibility with various software platforms.
Experience applying AI- powered solutions to enhance or automate testing processes (e.g., test case generation, defect prediction, visual testing).
Ability to analyze complex data and evaluate system performance.

Nice to have:

Japanese language proficiency and/or Japanese certification.
Testing certifications such as ISTQB Advanced Test Manager Certificate or Certified Software Test Lead.
