Senior Machine Learning Engineer

The job holder is responsible for building and operating MLOps framework for developing and deploying data analytics models as well as aplying machine learning engineering approaches and best practices to package data analytic models for deployment, in the form of software applications or APIs to be used by consumers to run the models.

Key accountabilities:

Working with other centers/departments in EDA as well as Business Units to understand business problems to support them in better utilizing machine learning.
Automate data and machine learning engineering processes.
Training other EDA team members on machine learning.
Support other centers/departments in providing predictive and prescriptive analyses when needed.
Partner with data scientists to build and operate Feature Store.
Develop deployment architecture for machine learning model, leverage on premise and cloud based big data platforms to refactor and optimize code for production.
Proactively analyze and utilize existing/new data sources to support more impactful analyses.
Support the validation of machine learning models.
Collaborate with relevant units to develop/acquire new data sources for AIC to facilitate developing new use- case.
Develop and operate components within the MLOps platform.
Conduct research and acquire new machine learning/AI and engineering techniques
Monitor model quality post- deployment; support initiatives to improve model quality.

Familiar with SQL and experience with data transformation
Proficiency in big data technologies, distributed computing, software and visualization development.
Hands- on experience with cloud platforms
Strong proficiency in at least one programming language Python/R
Advanced knowledge in big data and machine learning/AI tech stack including Hadoop and Spark
Adapt well in changing environment & self- learning
Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or other Quantitative discipline or other related majors
Strong hands- on experiences in deploying machine learning model to production.
Related experiences in interpreting/exploring data, working with statistical models, forecasting, machine learning algorithms, and advanced analytical techniques
Good presentation, teamwork and problem solving skills
Min 4- 5 years of solid experience in data science, machine learning engineering or big data engineering.
