JOB DESCRIPTION

Conduct manual testing of mobile applications (Android and iOS), web platforms, and backend APIs. This involves understanding various platforms and their interaction.
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved. Ensure that the fixes work as expected and do not introduce new issues.
Thoroughly review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents. Provide timely and meaningful feedback to ensure clarity and feasibility.
Liaise with internal teams such as developers and product managers.
Collaborate to understand system requirements and ensure alignment of testing with development
Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs. Maintain clear and concise bug reports to facilitate quick resolutions.
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well- structured test plans and test cases tailored to the project requirements.

MUST HAVE (Manual Testing)

Demonstrable experience in manual testing including API testing, end- to- end testing, and mobile application testing.
Ability to identify, isolate, and track bugs effectively.
CodeceptJS, Appium, etc., is a big plus.
5+ years of relevant experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or Software Test Engineer with a bachelor’s degree in computer science
Familiarity with frameworks like Detox, Selenium,
Experience with MySQL and scripting in order to verify the data
Experience with various testing frameworks is beneficial.
Fluency in English and Arabic (is a plus)

COMMON REQUIREMENT

BSC in Computer Science or equivalent
Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in working in Agile teams.
APIs development
Proficient understanding of source versioning tools, such as Git (we’re using Gitlab)
Cloud- based applications/Microservices/Distributed system
Good written and spoken communication skills in English (Arabic is a big plus)
Proactive, goal- orientated, and self- structured in your approach

NICE TO HAVE (Automation Testing)

Familiarity with frameworks like Detox, Selenium, CodeceptJS, Appium, etc., is a big plus.
Programming language: Java
