ROLE
The Senior Medical Writer will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and editing high- quality, engaging medical content tailored for healthcare professionals. This role ensures the accuracy, clarity, and consistency of all materials, aligning with editorial and scientific standards while maintaining relevance across Docquity’s platforms and health communications channels. With a blend of strong writing skills and sharp editorial judgment, the Senior Medical Writer will collaborate across teams to deliver timely, impactful content that supports Docquity’s goals and upholds the highest standards of medical communication.
EXPECTATIONS FROM YOU
Content Development & Editorial Review
Maintain organized records of references and source materials.
Ensure all content complies with regulatory, journal, company, and editorial guidelines.
Adapt content language and tone to meet regional and local requirements.
Write, edit, and proofread medical content to ensure scientific integrity, accuracy in spelling, grammar, style, and syntax.
Review, verify, and adapt content from both internal and external sources to maintain content diversity and specialty coverage.
Provide scientific input during internal discussions and throughout the content development lifecycle.
Liaise with designers, editors, video producers, and graphic artists to ensure consistency and impact in design, layout, and multimedia projects.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Represent the Editorial team in client meetings, as required.
Deliver high- quality content on time, aligned with monthly and quarterly KPIs.
Uphold editorial and scientific accuracy in all published content.
Monitor project deadlines and ensure deliverables integrate seamlessly with company- wide initiatives.
Analyze engagement data and optimize content strategies to improve performance and reader retention.
Promotional & Engagement Activities
Oversee in- app content assistant tools to enhance discoverability and user engagement.
Create and manage promotional content for campaigns, including emails, notifications, and social media posts.
Propose content adaptations and promotional strategies based on engagement insights to achieve business objectives.
Cross- Team Collaboration & Support
Support regional teams with tasks related to language, content review, and user experience testing.
Collaborate with product, operations, tech, partnerships, and design teams to create interactive and user- friendly content.
Mentor and guide junior writers to help them develop their skills and deliver high- quality work.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, clients, and external contributors to support content development.
Research & Strategic Contribution
Identify relevant content sources aligned with market needs and Docquity’s strategic goals.
Research and understand medical writing, marketing, and market- specific requirements for Vietnam and other regions.
Stay updated on industry trends, guidelines, and best practices in medical writing and communications.
