Senior Motor Engineer

- Liaise with the supplier’s motor Engineering Department and support the Project Engineer in the development of motors.
- Engineering Design of motors including:
Permanent magnet brush motor under 40V DC (nozzle motor)
DC120 & 230V permanent magnet brush motor (nozzle motor)
Permanent magnet brush motor under 40V DC with impeller (suction motor)
Permanent magnet brushless motor under 40V DC with impeller & PCBA (suction motor)
AC120 & 230V brush motor with impeller (suction motor)
- Knowledge of motor manufacturing and design is preferable.
- Manage multiple projects from different OEMs and follow- up from project kick- off to MP.
- Participate in communication with outside clients on status of project issues.
- Check and manage Engineering documents required for motor component systems development.
- Write and transform the Product Requirements to motor detail requirements which should be downloadable to the Product and Components Suppliers.
- Coordinate with other Departments for motor development.
- Familiar with the design of full motor systems, which is a key electrical component.
- Coordinate with Suppliers to qualify new motors
- Trouble shooting during product development cycle.

This position will be based in Dau Giay, Dong Nai (1.5 hours from HCMC by taking highway). Shuttle bus from HCMC & Bien Hoa, Dong nai is available.

- Mechatronics/Electrical- Electronic or Mechanical bachelor&039;s degree.
- Able to work under pressure.
- At least 5 years relevant working experience in motor field.
- English writing and reading is essential, fluent English speaking is an advantage.
- Components and Materials knowledge
- Quality & Production knowledge – SPC, CPK evaluation, MSA
- Experience in vacuum cleaner motor design is preferred
- Skilled in MAXWELL design software is preferred.
- Computer aided design skill: For example; CAD, UG, PRO- E. SOLIDWORKS
- Familiar with UL1004 safety standards and motor EMC requirements
- Motor (AC, DC and BLDC) knowledge
