Senior .NET Engineer (English, OOP)

The projects you work on will not only solve the customers’ problems but deliver the added value that defines all Adnovum&039; s software solutions. The main task of a senior software engineer is to design and develop new solution features according the requirements along a defined roadmap in a timely manner.
As a Senior Software Engineer in Adnovum, you will work with highly skilled and experienced engineers who have their work measured against the highest standards.
In your daily work, you will

Develop software conforming to design, program guidelines and programming best practices
Assist in the integration testing, system testing, user acceptance testing and implementation activities to fix the reported problem/bugs of the system to ensure the smooth execution of programs in the respective environments
Analyze functional and technical requirements to translate into application design using established design methodologies and guidelines
Collaborate with other Adnovum employees in cross- functional teams to achieve goals
Develop unit test package, execute test & document test results to ensure the quality of the program
Investigate all reported problems/errors and implement fixes for the Issues/problems so that the system can operate correctly and efficiently
Mentor team members
Maintain software applications, components, modules or interfaces to databases and other applications
Prepare and maintain up to date system documentation

To master this job, you should have

Proficiency in C, Winforms, WPF, VB.NET, .NET framework
Excellent communication skills in English
Strong understanding of object- oriented programming (OOP) principles
Minimum 5 years of experience in software development.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Advanced application of OO design, design patterns and SOLID principles
Good knowledge of Unit test, SQL database

Strong plus if you have any/some of following:

Experience in Agile software development (e.g. state- of- the- art CI/CD tools and DevOps automation)
A keen interest to learn new technologies and to get to know various business domains
Customer facing experience with effective listening and interaction skills
Proactive mindset that is creative and solution oriented
Experience with Elastic Search
Experience with .NET core, Entity framework
Experience on writing technical documents and providing effort estimations
Experience in mentoring junior project team members
