Senior PHP Developer (Technical Lead)

You will work with the team and the client to anticipate and identify the risks and provide appropriate solutions that are secure, scalable and maintainable. Next to that we expect that as a senior you will be able to help the whole team grow.
As a Senior Backend Developer, you are expected to have proficient skills in multiple PHP frameworks and JavaScript, types of projects and architectures. You are also able to understand and design data model architecture with different database storage engines MySQL, NoSQL.
Additionally, you will create stable & maintainable applications to automate the work.
For our office in Ho Chi Minh City, Sunbytes is looking for a full-time Senior Backend Developer with at least 4 years experience. You will work in an international environment with colleagues in Vietnam and Netherlands. In addition to the opportunities to interact and learn from our client in the US.

, we expect you to have the experience with and knowledge of:

Experience with code review, feedback and standards.
Deep knowledge in PHP 7, MySQL
At least bachelor of IT or equivalent
Knowledge of at least 2 PHP frameworks
Experience with unit testing
Deep understanding of design patterns, and the principles of OOP, MVC
Deep knowledge in database design/ UML
Version management using GIT

Furthermore, as you will be working in an international organization, your English needs to be at intermediate level.
It is a bonus if you have experience with or some knowledge of:

JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular or VueJS
Knowledge of WordPress
Experience with Git, SEO, Gulp, NPM, CSS preprocessors, BEM, Bootstrap, SOLID Foundation, cross-platform compatibility
Experience with Python (Django) is a huge plus
Git-flow and GitLab-ci
Docker
Experience with: Sage, Blade, PHP framework Laravel, Symfony
HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript
