Senior Process/Lean Engineer

Goal of position:

Coaching and training junior technologist for professional development of technological competency
To ensure continuous improvement in Heat treatment processes
To develop and improve Heat treatment technology capability of plant and keep it in high competitive level.
Solving complex manufacturing technological problems.

Main tasks:

Leading complex technological problem-solving using heat treatment expertise.
Conducting time study, productivities improvement and MTM project
Leading new production technology investment to SVC in Heat treatment processes.
Troubleshooting support (machine, quality,…)
Research & improvement devices and machines to improve production efficiency.
Monitor heat treatment process to ensure capability in production
Monitoring operating supplier consumption to ensure the best production cost and producing smoothly
Cycle time reduction.
Coaching and training for junior technologist
Record, analyse data, report ability
Setting up Heat treatment parameters
Change-over type and setup.
Being a key contact point with corporate and regional technology department for responsible technology topics in the field
Create work instruction related to Heat treatment process and training for Heat treatment setters, operators
Pre-setting tools & jigs.
Contribute to improving projects for the best production cost achievement
Developing new production technological concept to support project footprint. Testing, evaluating and start-up new product or manufacturing process.

Experiences in Technical drawings reading
Tolerance knowledge in precision machining

Heat treatment operation experiences at least 3 year
Good knowledge of industrial engineering, LEAN and statistical process control (SPC)
Background in Mechanical Engineering or Material Sciences
Using measuring devices.
