Senior Procurement Specialist

Manage purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation accurately and timely.
Monitor supplier performance and build strong, long- term supplier relationships.
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and risk mitigation.
Mentor and support junior procurement staff.
Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms with suppliers to achieve the best value.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and forecast demand.
Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, cost, delivery, and compliance requirements are met.
Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to lead and optimize our procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, deep knowledge of sourcing strategies, and the ability to manage supplier relationships to ensure cost- effective and timely procurement of goods and services.
MUST HAVE

Strong analytical and problem- solving abilities.
Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles, preferably in a similar industry.
Good understanding of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and contract management.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

NICE TO HAVE

Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) in procurement modules.
Experience in designing and implementing digital systems and automation tools.
Knowledge of trade regulations and compliance.
Experience in sustainable procurement and supplier diversity initiatives.
Professional procurement certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply), CPP (Certified Procurement Professional), or equivalent.
Ability to communicate effectively in English (both written and spoken).
